In order to send picture and video messages, you will need to configure the APN (access point name) and MMS settings on your device. For instructions on how to do this, click here.
If your device's APN and MMS settings match what is listed in the instructions and you are still unable to send picture or video messages, please ensure:
- Your device has signal, and you're able to connect to the internet or use data on your device
- Data roaming is switched on in your device settings
- You're able to send and receive plain text messages
- The contact you're trying to send a MMS to is stored in your device with a 10-digit number (including the area and country codes)
Please note: If you're using an iOS device and are trying to send a picture or video to a non-iOS user, please ensure that the message is sending via text message instead of through iMessage. Non-iOS users are not able to receive iMessage, and the message will not deliver.
If you have followed all of these instructions and are still having problems, submit a ticket here.
